Always burn candles within sight, in a non-draughty area, on a heat-safe surface, and out of reach from children, pets & flammable materials.
The first time you burn your candle, burn it for at least approx. 2 hours or until the melt pool - the liquified wax on the top layer of a burning candle - nears the edge of the vessel. Thereafter, do not burn for less than one hour or more than four hours at a time.
Trim wicks to 7mm before each use. If the wicks are too short, the wax may not burn all the way to the edge (tunnelling); if they are too long, the wicks may appear to mushroom and cause black soot.
Never touch or move a hot candle. Discontinue use when less than 2cm of wax remains.
